Spring Cleaning?
I just read in our local newspaper that spring cleaning is in season and I must start tackling clutter in my household such as...
Yet this is the one that really threw me for a loop...
Excuse me?

A mini bacteria volcano evolving in my own home?

Granted, I hate using a bathroom in most public places, but I always envisioned my home's powder room to be of the utmost clean, pristine and immaculate corner of my home.

And now I'm getting all queasy just thinking about how many times I've left that lid up for the past 43 years after flushing.

I'm sorry - I must go - those lids need to be put down immediately.

I heard that somewhere years ago -- that when you flush, germs can go from your toilet up to 5 or 6 feet away. That could reach a toothbrush -- yuck!! Ever since, I've been vigilant about putting the lids down!!

But the ice thing? That never would have occurred to me... and I have a feeling I probably won't be doing that. Our ice has always tasted just fine. :)
